Event Details:
Paintball is a competitive, non contact sport played between two teams. The teams try to win games by achieving an objective, such as capturing a flag from the opponent's base camp. Shooting members of the opposite team with a paint pellet, fired from a Paintball gun, eliminates them from a game and makes it easier to win. |
This half day session will typically involve five games. Typical games may include:
Flag Capture - Teams try to capture a flag from the opponents' base.
The Village - The team who captures the majority of the buildings wins.
Ammo Box Capture - Capture the ammunition box and take it into the oppositions' base.
Arena Ball - A large open field filled with oil barrel barricades - capture the central flag.
Included:
- Camouflage all-in-one overalls
- Tippmann 98 Semiautomatic Paintball Gun fitted with 200 shot hopper
- Scott panorama goggles (these protect your eyes, mouth and ears)
What should I wear?
- Sensible footwear is very important. During the winter we advise walking boots or rugby / football boots. During the summer walking boots or trainers are suitable.
- Bring old clothes - they will get wet and muddy during the winter months. The paint will usually wash out but does occasionally stain. Several layers are advisable to allow you to control your body temperature.
- A change of clothes is advisable for the end of the day or bring a bin bag to sit on in your car.
